Why We Have The Tournament?
Mary Etta Helms was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2004. She never gave up on fighting this devastating disease. When she left her pain behind on January 2nd, 2006, we decided to continue the fight on her behalf.
By participating in this tournament, you are joining a critical nationwide effort to end ovarian cancer. Thank you for honoring Mary Etta’s memory and for supporting ovarian cancer research.

We have already booked the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on September 22, 2007. Clear your calendars and we hope to see you there.
About The Course.
Golfers of all levels will enjoy this picturesque championship layout. Cut through a pine forest along the shores of Lake Juniper this challenging course was designed by Tom Jackson. Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, clubhouse, practice green, driving range, pro shop and snack grill. One of the unique features of this layout is that no two fairways run adjacent to each other. Cheraw State Park is also Audubon Certified.
